I named my first daughter Bronwen (see How Green Was My Valley) Angharad after Demelza Poldark etc etc. She did some acting while in HS in Florida and was very happy because of these two unique names - everybody knew her because of these two names. However, she never learned how to correctly pronounce either name with the rolling RRRRs as in proper Welsh. Her mother's family were all Welsh miners now mostly in Yorkshire.
